Stereo 200 is the latest in a long line of prestigious Cyrus power amps that stretches back over 35 years. It is an ultra high performance design, incorporating a new and unique Cyrus topology that combines the benefits of high efficiency and lower heat generation from a digital output stage, with the companys famous highly refined analogue power supply circuitry. Delivering a Herculean 2 x 200 watts into 6 ohms from the single half width Cyrus die-cast aluminium chassis, this amplifier is intended to fit into the Cyrus range between the 1095 X Power and the 2895 Mono X300 Signature power amps. The Cyrus Stereo 200 uses a unique hybrid design to deliver immense power, dynamic attack and control, from a very compact chassis. Thanks to its its high wattage and rock solid stability into low impedance loads, it has the ability to drive virtually any loudspeaker, producing stunning levels of realism. When partnered with the right ancillaries, this amp is capable of taking on rival products at twice its price. The Stereo 200 is an ideal match for Stream XP Pre DAC pre-amps, or can be used as a massive performance upgrade for 6 Series or 8 Series Cyrus integrated amplifiers.
